Last year on September 13th, we celebrated National Peanut Day and International Chocolate Day by making our own version of peanut buster parfaits. This year, Nichole remembered and let me know she wanted ice cream like last time. I let her know there's no room in the freezer right now for ice cream. So the kids had to settle for Peanut M&Ms. They whined and complained and screamed and cried, but finally they ate that candy. Actually, they helped make dinner,
did a good job eating dinner, then happily ate that candy. Jr. Jr. had non-peanut M&Ms.
Once again, simple celebrating, but it was nice.
