Catching Up on the Last Three Months- 4

Summer Reading at the Orem Library.  I helped Jeremy build the Apollo Moon Lander (The Eagle) and astronaut out of balloons.
We dragged all the kids to the kickoff event again this year.  As usual, the kids enjoyed the puppet show.
Later, Lucky enjoyed putting on a puppet show of his own inside the new kids' area of the library.

We visited friends in Kaysville for a couple weeks.  That was fun.  The kids had lots of fun playing with friends.  They even had a balloon sword battle at one point.
Nichole with the creativity again.
Pretty much give her any materials and see what she'll come up with.

Our friends live a few blocks from the ponds of the Utah State University Botanical Center so we were able to have a couple of relaxing Sunday evening walks and got to see some first of the year birds as well as some common favorites.

Well, that's all for now.  There is plenty more to catch up on so I'll do so later.

Catching Up on the Last Three Months- 3

I love my family.  I love the humor.  That was one of the things that drew me to my husband when we were first getting to know each other- his sense of humor.  I still love his sense of humor after so many years of being married.  I love that my kids have picked up on his style of humor.  Love it.  Love it.  Love it.
So I was delighted while I was looking through pictures to do my catching up to find this picture.
Give this girl a white board and dry erase marker and it is wonderful what she will come up with.

Continuing on with what we did in May, Jr. continued to earn things in Scouts and the whole family participated in pack meetings.

Jr. Jr. participated in his grade's patriotic program.  Good job, kid.

Lucky continued making videos with ZZ, though I've been too busy to edit and upload any since International Respect for Chickens Day.

May 18 was Mount Saint Helens Day.  We had mashed potato volcanoes.

Jr. and Jr. Jr. did a good job with their school dance festival again this year.  I'm not putting pictures on here of them but trust me when I say they did a good job.
And the kids ended the school year.  I neglected to take pictures when they got done on the last day of school.  It was a crazy busy day.  Oh well.
Here are some pictures of the kids later that day.
And here's Jeremy working on the Orem Library's Summer Reading Program's balloon sculpture that same day.

And that is where we were at the end of May.

I'll catch up on June later.

Catching Up on the Last Three Months- 2

Nichole had another orchestra concert toward the end of the school year.  This time she was in the intermediate orchestra instead of the beginner orchestra.  She did a good job again.

For Mother's Day, my family made me breakfast and dinner.  Ahhhh. I love them.
It's obviously a face.  My kids love me.

Also, for a Mother's Day gift, Jeremy sent me on a birding field trip the day after Mother's Day.  Loved it.

Jr.'s grade in elementary school did a wax museum.  Jr. decided to portray Albert Einstein.  I loved his presentation.

Well, that's all for now.  There is plenty more to catch up on so I'll do so later.

Catching Up on the Last Three Months- 1

Well, it's been three months since I last blogged.  A lot has happened in that three months.  So... I guess I'll just get to catching up and you'll figure out along the way what's been going on and why I haven't blogged as much.  Here we go:

Cinco de Mayo, May the 5th. We made taquitos and spanish rice.  Yumm.

Jeremy and I got to go out to celebrate our anniversary on our actual anniversary.  That was good because things became pretty hectic later in the month.
A friend asked if Lucky could play at their house that day because their son and he are good friends.  Perfect timing, friend.  Thanks.  Jeremy and I were able to go see the new Avengers movie.  "Avengers: Infinity War."
Then that evening we had our traditional anniversary dinner with the kids.  Yumm.

Jr. and Jr. Jr. also decided to rub my feet on my anniversary.  Such sweet boys.

Another day, I went with Nichole to a Young Women's activity to learn about photography.  No offense to the person leading the activity but I feel I know no more about photography than I did going in (which isn't much).  Of course it's hard to give enough individual instruction to about 10 different people.
There were some fun subjects to photograph however.  I was quite happy to respond to the cries of, "My turn.  Take a picture of me."

Speaking of not knowing photography, which picture is better (and what does better mean)?:

Here are some of the pictures Nichole took:
Of course she had to get bird pictures.  She is our daughter after all.

Well, that's all for now.  There is plenty more to catch up on so I'll do so later.
