4th Grade Rendezvous

At school Jr. Jr. learned about mountain men and how they would get together with native Americans to trade with each other -mountain men rendezvous. The 4th grade teachers had the students collect items from home that they could bring to trade for their own 4th Grade Rendezvous.

Here are the items Jr. Jr. took. He really wanted his sister to draw a picture for him to take. She did. She's so nice. I put con-tact paper on it to make it a little more sturdy. We also thought it would be fun to send him with a roll of toilet paper since that is a high demand item this year. We figured the parents of whatever student took it home would get a kick out of it.

Here's what he brought home (minus some candy he'd already eaten). He enjoyed himself.

Lucky had show and tell at school. He was supposed to bring something he wanted to talk about and write three clues to help people guess what the object was. He chose to bring his little teddy bear pin and these were his clues:
It is brown. It is soft and hard and sharp. It has ears, eyes, a nose, and arms and legs.
