Today is Plant a Flower Day.
For Family Home Evening this week, we transplanted our herbs as they were getting too big for their little pots.
While we were at it, we started some vegetable seeds that we'll later transplant outside in front of our place. The kids each planted sunflower seeds as well. Those are going to be fun to watch grow.
Anyone else planting herbs, vegetables, or flowers this year?
Our lettuce started sprouting and Nichole has a sunflower already poking up. Yay for Miracle-Gro potting mix. We planted these on Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteJr.'s sunflower started poking up, too. Jeremy said you can see how sunflowers can grow to such big heights. They're certainly growers.
