Our Take on Today's Holidays

My mother informed me that June 4 is both Hug Your Cat Day and Old Maid Day.  Thanks, Mom. 

So in our family...
the kids hugged their "KAT"

and I taught them how to play the game, "Old Maid," with Book of Mormon Go Fish cards.

Nichole has a guilty look on her face, because she was dealt the Old Maid/Gadianton Robber card and I told them not to tell if they had that card.

I think creativity is acceptable when finding reasons and ways to celebrate.
