BBQ with Friends

We found something new at the library. We were able to check out a projector. So... we invited some friends over, set up the grill, connected the Switch to the projector and enjoyed food, friends, and video games.

That was a fun night. 
At the end of the night, Jr. got artsy with photos of fire again. 

 

It Looks Worse Than It Is

Do you ever see something and you think, "Eeee, that looks pretty bad"?

This picture looks bad. It looks like Jet is screaming, like loudly screaming. How could I handle the sound in order to get a picture? Looks can be deceiving.

He was making absolutely no sound. He got into this pose with his mouth open like that and let me take a picture of him. It was just Jet being a ham. He's adorable.

Reward!

Remember when Jet (with help from family) read "1000 Books Before Kindergarten"?

Since he picked up his final prizes right before school started last year, this year he got to go to a celebration for completing the program at the Provo Library. 

It was very simple since it was for children Jet's age and younger and Jet had a good time.

There were games with prizes, a craft, snacks, and before he left he got to pick another new book.

Way to go, kid.

Jet: Are they on the right feet now? 

A Few Holidays

August 5 was Work Like a Dog Day. We definitely did a lot that day. I also sang, "A Hard Day's Night," The Beatles song. 

August 6 was Wiggle Your Toes Day. Jet didn't want me to do "This Little Piggy" with his toes like I used to when he was little but Lucky let me with his toes. Tee Hee. I didn't get a picture, though. 

I did get a picture of Jet drinking a root beer float for Root Beer Float Day that same day.

And I brushed my teeth for Fresh Breath Day, also on that day.
