Late Night Shenanigans

 

One night, when they should have been sleeping, Jeremy and Jet stayed up way too late playing together. Jeremy made a mustache out of adhesive felt for Jet to wear so they both had mustaches.

He sent me pictures later because I slept through the whole thing. 

I mean, how cute is that? I love my husband and my son so much. 

Other April thins

Because of the laugh I got with "Other Narch thins," I now present "Other April thins," in no particular order:

My soon to be sister-in-law (more on that later) had a birthday in April so Jet had a pretend birthday cake. He blew out the candles and "ate" it. So cute. She got a kick out of it when I told her. He's been on a birthday cake kick lately.

 

Cuteness.

Haircuts before and after. Wow, that haircut took a lot of years off. 

It kind of reminds me how when my brother-in-law was a young teacher, he had to keep facial hair so he wouldn't be mistaken for a high school student.

 

Jet likes to help me spin lettuce. Well... he likes to use the lettuce spinner. He's learned something new he can do with it. He takes a toy helicopter, puts it on the top and pushes the top down and locks it. Then he releases the top and makes the helicopter fly. Tee Hee. I love it.

 

We've been eating yummy food. Some obviously came from A Season of Family Meal Plans by Jordan Page, some from other sources. I really enjoyed those red beans and rice with hush puppies last year and looked forward to it this year. I was not disappointed. 

The baby doll head is making an appearance again.

 

You know who is getting into placing it now? Jet. That's who. He climbed up so he could put it in the cupboard. Sigh.

Kristin here. I have to mention the cuteness of this little guy. Getting permission to actually touch the keyboard, he got a big kick out of figuring out that he could hold down a key and it would type a letter... a lot. He laughed and laughed then he would yell out the name of the letter or number he was "typing." Like I said... cuteness.

I had to edit a lot as most of his letters/numbers were going off the side of the page. It was kind of fun to see what pattern I got on the right side of the post with my "game" of holding down the delete key until the end of the line came into view. Since I was also tired, my reflexes weren't always the best.

Oh, well. It was still fun.

I can't really say Baby Cuteness anymore because he's really not a baby anymore, so here are some cute things from Jet in May.

Cuteness and Creativity

I was going to work on laundry after I finished what I was working on in the kitchen so I had a basket of clean towels sitting in the living room.

I heard Jet in the other room saying something. When I listened carefully, I could tell he was saying, "I'm a turtle." I came in to see he had knocked over the basket of towels and picked one to make a shell on his back. "I'm a turtle."

After a while he started using the towel in other ways.

"I'm a bat. Flap Flap Flap Flap." "I'm a T. rex." "I'm a shark monster." 

And finally, "I'm a mouse. Squeak Squeak Squeak."
