Father's Day 2011

Jeremy, may you remember this Father's Day always as the one where you and Nichole missed church because you two weren't feeling well but I had to go so I could teach my Sunbeam lesson, but I brought your Father's Day cookie home to you anyway, and you still enjoyed how the kids decorated two chairs for you:
a chair by the computer, complete with flowers, a bee, nice messages, a rainbow, several bows, a face,

and a hat for you to wear while you sit at the computer

and a silly chair at the kitchen table with feathers, flowers and a bee again, more nice messages, and bows,

and a paper plate face that Jr. wanted to say, "Happy Father's Day," like his cousin's Valentine's robot said, but I don't have the skills to make that happen electronically like Uncle Slater does

so every time you sat down in the chair, you would say, "Happy Father's Day," yourself in that robot voice

And may you remember the orange julius that Nichole had been planning to make you for a week for Father's Day, but you weren't sure if it would hurt your sore throat or not, but it turned out it was just fine and tasted nice

And how we started a family game you wanted to play, but only got through a few rounds because you paused to call your dad and the baby woke up and just wanted to grab everything

But overall you still had a good Father's Day because it was spent with your family.

  2. Wow, look at Nichole's writing. Joshua's hair is still short but looks like it's filling in pretty fast. He looks so much older with short hair. I am glad that Jeremy was ok to drink his Orange Julius, even if Nichole didn't get his share.
