Spaghetti Trivia

January 4 was National Spaghetti Day and it was National Trivia Day. 

Jr. and I made teriyaki spaghetti stir fry together while doing trivia games. 

Later we learned some trivia about spaghetti.

Giant Skillet Cookie

January 3 was J.R.R. Tolkien's Birthday. Nichole was reading The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

Since Jr. filled up his service punch card, he redeemed it to himself for a giant skillet cookie. Last time he made a skillet cookie it didn't work as well coming out of the pan. This time it worked beautifully. And being the sweet kid he is, he shared some of his treat with everyone.

Jr.: Do you know what would be funny? Put an audiobook on shuffle.

Jr. Jr.: I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve.

Dad: Tomorrow is not Christmas Eve.

Jr. Jr.: Exactly why I can't believe it.
