It's Raining? Bring on the Snails!

Because we've had rainy weather lately,
that means we're getting into snail season.
So one rainy day, we couldn't help but take pictures of snails.
Nature's cool, man.

Nature's Cool, Man

I love the difference between these two pictures taken from the same location, taken at a similar time of day.

Nature's cool, man.

I Don't Wanna

I don't wanna blog right now. I still need to catch up on dishes.
How about instead of doing a nice blog post, I show you what our sky looked like Tuesday evening?

 Cool, huh? I love nature.

I Love Nature!

"What a difference a day makes. 24 little hours."
These two pictures were taken from the same spot 24 hours apart- no editing, just how my phone camera captured it. The differences are amazing. Don't you just love nature
These were on my walk to Bridal Veil Falls from Bridal Veil Park. As I was walking back from Bridal Veil Falls the first day, I noticed the temperature dropping and thought to myself, I need to make sure to find my gloves and ear warmer. So even though there is blue sky in the second day picture, it was about 10 degrees colder (I asked my phone to tell me the temperature as I was headed out of the canyon both days). I'm glad I found my gloves and ear warmer before I left home that morning. My fingers were so numb anytime I took my gloves off to use my phone.

Bonus: Go to my blog post, "October Farewell" and based on this post, guess which pictures I took which of these two days.

Jr. Is So Cool

Jr. is so cool. He's been wanting to make crepes in his crepe pan he got or his birthday last year. He finally got to. They turned out so well. Yummmmmm.

Another cool thing about Jr. is his ability to play the cello. Jr. and Nichole had their Christmas Concert recently. Jeremy and I were both able to make it to watch the concert. It wasn't just an orchestra concert, though.
Those that performed were Symphonic Orchestra, Saxophone Quintet, Jazz Band, Concert Orchestra with Symphonic Band, Jazz Quartet, and the Symphonic Orchestra played with the Wind Symphony.
It was so nice to listen to the musical pieces.
I'm proud of both my strings players. I'm impressed with Jr. who was one of only two cellists performing in his orchestra (and the other cello had a solo so Jr. was holding the background on his own). The other two cellists were out sick.
Once again, it was a wonderful evening.

I also love how much Jet loves Jr.
Jr. and Nichole have been reading classics from Les Miserables to Shakespeare.
Most recently he was reading to Jet Moby Dick.

I just love that boy. Jr. is so cool.

Bow Ties Are Cool

Yay!  Jeremy learned how to tie a bow tie.
Now I just need to learn how to make them.
