Snow Goose Festival- A February Post

So there were a few blog posts I started (or meant to) even before everything shut down and things got scary and crazy and weird and unusual so I'm going to catch up on a few of those, if you don't mind.

The Delta Snow Goose Festival fell near Jeremy's birthday again this year. Jeremy took some of our children to lead a UCB field trip on Saturday for those that couldn't make the field trip on Friday (the person leading that field trip couldn't do Saturday this year so Utah County Birders supplied two options).

Jeremy wasn't able to do his traditional balloon geese and Costco chocolate cake this year so we did cake and ice cream at home. I had just lit the candles on his cake when he got a phone call so by the time the call was finished, one of the candles had burned all the way down to the cake. Ha Ha Ha. We quickly sang Happy Birthday and luckily he was able to blow out all the candles before they went out by themselves. Tee Hee. Just a little fun in the Telford home.

Lucky made Jeremy a present. He took some big LEGOs and created Link from The Legend of Zelda. He even had Link holding a sword and with a shield on his back. He also created a dragon for Link to fight and the dragon dropped pennies just like the bad guys in Zelda games drop rupees when defeated. I just love that little guy's creativity.
