More Meatless Meatballs

I made meatless meatballs again. I should say, Lucky helped me make meatless meatballs again. He saw how I was shaping them into balls and wanted to help out. Of course he got creative and decided to make shapes out of some of them. I love my kids.

Kids Make Dinner: Take 3

Let's get started at 4. No, let's get started at 5. Then we'll have an hour to make the food and eat at 6.
Umm... the bread will take half an hour just to rise and the bread and the cake might bake at different temperatures.
O.K. Let's start at 4.
... 4pm... 5pm... 6pm? I lost track.
It turned out there wasn't time to make cake. Sorry, kid. The bread tasted good, though.

Jr. Jr. chose to make pizza pasta (it also tasted good). He had a lot of help from his siblings.
Lucky chose to make baguettes for everyone. He had a lot of help from his siblings.
Nichole chose apples and carrots as a side dish. She cut up the apples herself and got the baby carrots out of the fridge herself and helped her brothers a lot.
Jr. wanted to make a sour cream cake. He didn't get to.
You win some. You lose some.

Stress Ball

Jr. very nicely made his brother a stress ball using flour and balloons. Such a nice brother.

It popped within an hour. Such is life.

Where Did It Go?

Jeremy got rid of his beard. When Jet saw him, he was a little concerned. I don't think he's ever seen him without a beard. After a while of hearing Dad's voice coming out of this beardless face, it looked as if Jet was looking for the missing beard, touching Dad's face and looking around for it.
Where did it go?

Eventually he got distracted by a button on Dad's shirt and seemed to accept Jeremy. He's still Daddy, no matter what facial hair he has.

If You Give Nichole a Medium...

June 23 was Hydration Day. I suggested to everyone to put their name on a white cup and use it throughout the day for drinking plenty of water.
Nichole decided to write her name on her cup... and add the dangers of getting too much water... in picture form.
