"I Am The Terror That Flaps in the Night"
Look who's been watching Darkwing Duck lately. I love introducing things from my childhood to my children.

Pop for Pop
This is what our Primary put together for the men in our ward for Father's Day: Pop for Pop
Jeremy put the picture together with the border and with lyrics from the children's song, "Fathers." They fit four on an 8.5 X 11 inch piece of cardstock. I got them copied and cut them out. Jeremy and I took craft knives to the neck holes (we found normal hole punches don't actually reach that far from the side or top, sigh). Then I had the Activity Days girls and leaders finish them off for an activity. They put tape around the bottom of the wrappers so they could fit them through the necks. They punched the holes at the bottom. That way they could slip the sticks through the two holes and then tape the sticks on the back of the cards to secure them.
After Sacrament Meeting some of the kids in the Senior Primary and some adult leaders helped pass them out. I think this Father's Day treat turned out well.

Mad About Science
It's time once again. The Orem Public Library's Summer Reading Program, where Jeremy gets to build a big (sometimes huge) balloon sculpture for them. This year's theme is "Mad about Science" so Jeremy built a mad scientist's laboratory as the entryway to the storytelling wing. It will be up through tomorrow (Wednesday) as they are doing their last Teddy Bear Picnic (Summer Reading kickoff event) at 10:30am. So if you're in the area, check it out.
And remember, you can click on the pictures to see them bigger.
