You Can Do This

You know those mornings?  Yeah, you know them.
Well, this morning after sleeping in later than I would have liked (and after everyone getting to bed later than I would have liked last night), the older kids were eating apples while I was cutting up carrots for their lunches.  Or I was trying to motivate myself to cut up carrots for their lunches.
The kids could hear me saying to myself, "I can do this."
Nichole decided to help out and start a cheer.  "You can do this.  You can do this.  You can do this."
They had fun and I appreciated it.  I really do have great kids.

And these pictures are especially for you, Jeremy.

Determination

Remember the Tacos ¢99 sign I blogged about before?
We found another one along State Street in Orem.  I tried many times to get pictures of it.  Sometimes I didn't have my camera, sometimes I had my camera but forgot to get it out in time as we were driving by, sometimes I got a picture but at a bad angle or with an obstacle in the picture or too blurry.
Well, one day we were driving along and I was determined to get that picture.  And it just so happened that "Eye of the Tiger" was playing on the radio.  Oh yeah, great music for motivation.

And guess what?

We got the picture.
