AND here we go again. Look closely AND see if you can spot something out of place. I've been passing this business for years AND it still makes me laugh. I wonder how many people go in AND point out the mistake. AND I wonder what they tell people when they point out the mistake.

Tacos and Beyond
If you have no idea what the title of this post has to do with this... post, click on this link to see what my original Tacos and Beyond post was about. Every once in a while you'll see something written that doesn't look quite right. In this case, it has to do with a gift we were given for Christmas (thank you, friends).
The brown box of mints came inside the festive red box.
Now look closely at the weight listed on the inside box
and the weight listed on the outside box.
So... when you put the one box inside the other, it makes the whole thing lighter? Jeremy says it must be an anti-gravity box.

Tacos and Beyond
We've seen expensive wheat.
Now we see inexpensive fish food.
.25¢
A quarter of a cent for a handful of fish food to feed the koi at Thanksgiving Point Gardens? That's funny. Because the machines only took quarters. That's a quarter of a dollar.
25¢ or $.25

Determination
Remember the Tacos ¢99 sign I blogged about before?
We found another one along State Street in Orem. I tried many times to get pictures of it. Sometimes I didn't have my camera, sometimes I had my camera but forgot to get it out in time as we were driving by, sometimes I got a picture but at a bad angle or with an obstacle in the picture or too blurry.
Well, one day we were driving along and I was determined to get that picture. And it just so happened that "Eye of the Tiger" was playing on the radio. Oh yeah, great music for motivation.
And guess what?
We got the picture.

Tacos and Beyond
Remember the Tacos ¢99 signs I talked about before? Typos are so fun, aren't they? Here's something we found in a local grocery ad a while back.
It says, ".50 lb" wheat for "$11.99" Half a pound for $12? Now that's expensive wheat.

Tacos and Beyond
Here's what I learned in elementary school: When you're talking about money, the dollar and cent symbols go in different places next to the numbers. The cent symbol goes after the number. The dollar symbol goes before the number. For example, if something costs 99 cents, you would put either 99¢ or $.99
Imagine my surprise then, when we moved to our current home, we saw a local taco place waving their sign next to the road
and a few months later, they had banners to advertise.
This went on for years. They even got a new sign for waving next to the road.
Have I been mistaken all these years or is this just a new way of doing dollars and cents I didn't know about?
