I really enjoy seeing the things Jr. Jr. comes up with for book reports at school. He often picks Brandon Mull books to report on, which isn't a surprise since Brandon Mull has such great books and they can be read over and over again. For projects Jr. Jr. has done posters several times, slide shows, and most recently he made an item that represented a scene in a book. In Fablehaven: Rise of the Evening Star, there is a scene wear Kendra plays a game of foosball against the character known as The Sphinx. Jr. Jr. made a foosball table for his project that can work to push a marble around.
Good work as usual, Jr. Jr. I love your creativity.

Book Report
It's National Rationalization Day today, February 23. I don't want to put the effort into talking about what we've done today. I'm rationalizing that I already have a blog post ready to go so I'm just going to post this:
On November 20, I blogged about a book report Jr. Jr. did on a Brandon Mull book.
For another book report, he picked another Brandon Mull book. This time it was Fablehaven: Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary. He chose to draw a classroom mural showing a scene from the book. He chose a scene where the characters come up against a hydra. Jr. Jr. made sure to use the scene in the book to get the details on his mural. One of the heads was bigger than the other, one was missing an eye, three of them just had stumps instead of heads, etc. etc.
He again did such a great job and we're proud of him for working so hard.

Book Report
The same week Jr. Jr.'s turkey in disguise was due, he also had a book report due. He chose the book Candy Shop War by Brandon Mull. You know we like Brandon Mull books around here. He chose to make a poster about the book. He made a list of the candies that were used in the book and what they do and drew a little picture of each candy. He worked hard on this project and I'm pleased with how it turned out. Way to go, Jr. Jr.
