Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day Observed

January 29 was Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day but we didn't get around to playing with bubble wrap that day so Jet took it upon himself to celebrate another day.

How Was Your Date? Blah Blah Blah!

So much catching up to do. Wish me luck.

Jeremy and I went on a "date" to run errands together on Saturday, the 17th, just the two of us.

I went in the Orem Library for the first time in about a year and a half. One of the librarians took us to see the new library hall. Jeremy's seen it but I hadn't yet.
For dinner, Jr. made us grilled cheese sandwiches and I made us Blah Blah Blah for Blah Blah Blah Day on April 17.
Then Nichole made us cheeseball for National Cheeseball Day. I think she's become the designated cheeseball maker/sculpter. She made it in the shape of an acorn to celebrate that the book she's writing has officially reached the word count of a full length novel. Acorn is a reference to her book.
April 17 was also Bat Appreciation Day. Jeremy, Nichole, and I kept talking about the bat, Bartok, in the movie Anastasia.

Teacher Appreciation

Teacher Appreciation Week 2020. Because the elementary students couldn't give things to their teachers at school, the school set up a sign the kids could get a picture by to send to their teachers.
Jeremy and I joked about decorating our front door for teacher appreciation week like they often do for the teachers at the school, but we didn't. We could definitely be considered teacher's aides with the amount of work we do with this online schooling. Of course, Jr. could be considered one, too, with what he does to help his siblings. You know what? The whole family has done so much. We all deserve appreciation. Thanks, Telfords. You're terrific.
I do appreciate the work my children's teachers have put in the last couple months (and the whole school year). It has been crazy and different but they have been amazing. Thanks, teachers. You're terrific.
