This is how tired I was after that early morning news spot about the Wonders build:
We got up so early Monday morning. As I was about to head to bed Monday night, I thought about how I would need to get the kids up for school the next morning. Wait. No. Summer vacation. No school to get up for.

Ah, The Life Of a Celebrity
We had an early morning this morning. We got the kids up really early to go up to the Museum of Ancient Life to the Wonders build. Jeremy was on kutv2 news in the morning. They also talked about kids summer camps at Thanksgiving Point, so our kids got to be involved in that. They got to make rockets out of alka seltzer and film canisters.
Jeremy made a balloon caricature of the interviewer to give to him.
Besides KUTV, the Wonders have been getting some other attention.
The Daily Herald had an article about it.
The Daily Universe had an article about it.
With how early our morning was, we didn't get much done today. Well, Jeremy did. Today was the first day he started the Temple of Artemis.
And here is a picture of the finished Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
I can barely fit it in with my camera.
It was an early day.

Eating Toast and People
For my birthday, my in-laws sent me the first Jurassic Park movie on DVD. It was the only one of the first three movies we still had on VHS. They also sent me a bottle of marionberry honey.
My mother-in-law told me I could eat the honey on toast while watching the dinosaurs eat people in the movie.
So that's what I did.
Yumm yumm. Crunch crunch.

Busy Busy Summer
Oh my goodness gracious. We have been so busy this Summer vacation and it just barely started.
Both Wednesday and Thursday we went up to Thanksgiving Point to see how the first Wonder was going. This is the first week so all you see so far is "in progress." No finished design so far, but it's looking cool. I'll probably show finished pictures next week.
After the kids and I got back from the museum, we had themed food- hanging garden salad bar.
Besides visiting the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, we've been keeping busy in other ways. This afternoon we went walking and playing with friends.
I love how well the kids get along. It's great for the other mom and me, too. We're able to catch up and not worry about the kids. We're all so comfortable with each other.
Now I'm exhausted so I need to stop blogging for the night. Bye.

And I forgot the croutons in the pantry both nights.

80 Year Anniversary
80 years ago, June 2, Babe Ruth retired from baseball. To celebrate, we had Baby Ruth candy bars while at the Teddy Bear Picnic for the Orem Library's Summer Reading Program.
We also stopped in the library to see Jeremy's creation this year. It was not as big as Starry Night was last year but it fit this year's theme. "Nature Jedis: May the Forest be With You."
After visiting the library, we got to go over and play with some friends we haven't seen for a few years. The kids had a blast and I enjoyed spending time with my friend. This friend and I used to spend time when we were newly married and when we were both pregnant with our first children. It's fun to have friends you can be so comfortable with when you get together even if you haven't seen them for a while.
Other things we did today-
Watched a movie while playing in balloon boxes.
Nichole's loose tooth came out.
It was a good day.

Flip a Coin Day 2015
June 1st is Flip a Coin Day. Jr. brought out a coin he wanted us to use for making decisions. It was a coin Jeremy brought back from Dubai when he was there in 2013. I realized I never blogged about it, so now is the perfect time.
Jeremy was hired to create some large and extravagantly large sculptures for the Bubbles and Balloons Fiesta at the Dubai Marina Mall, one of the many malls in Dubai (this one apparently has yacht parking).
He got to work with Matt Johnson, the Cool Balloon Guy, and had a great time.
He also had a chance to do some sightseeing while he was there.
And he brought back coins for the kids. What a nice guy. And how helpful for Flip a Coin Day in 2015.
