Summer Reading Programs have begun. Both Orem Library and Provo Library have the theme, "Oceans of Possibilities."
We all went to the Orem Library to help build this Summer's balloon sculpture. A sunken ship with a treasure chest. The four oldest kids helped with the balloons and the toddler made sure everyone stayed hydrated by bringing water bottles to us. So cute.
We alternated between who helped with balloons and who read books because you have to read books if you're going to spend hours at the library.
Of course the toddler also needed supervision. So we took turns with that as well. The librarians created a seascape hanging in the children's section and Jet absolutely loved looking at it. He saw fish and a turtle and all sorts of neat things.
Unfortunately a couple of us got sick after that so we weren't able to finish up the balloons another day nor were we able to go to the kickoff event. Jeremy took three of the kids to it, though, and they enjoyed it. And they did finish the balloon.
And of course being sick (and other stresses) made me get behind on blogging again. But it's important family history so here we go again with the catchup. Although, I haven't felt like putting the effort into some of our celebrations so I'm not that far behind. There's not a lot to talk about when you haven't felt up to doing much.
